Inventory management is usually an important part of any RPG, and Darkest Dungeon is no different. The game makes inventory management a bit more complicated, making it doubly important to ensure you have enough slots to pick items up. Well this mod simply tweaks stack values in your inventory, making it so that a stack of any sellable item will be more valuable than one full stack of gold. Cool video game crossovers are always interesting though. And modding has made it possible with Darkest Dungeon. Modder Willydamn has pitched in as well, this time bringing Bloodborne to the world of Darkest Dungeon. His mod reskins the Highwayman with that of the Hunter from Bloodborne, having him wield a gun in one hand and a blade in the other, just like the original. Another major feature of the class is that every 25 points of stress you gain above , increases his damage. Which should make for some interesting strategic decisions. It all adds to the atmosphere in the game, and it all works really.

It could have a huge impact on how tedious things might feel. There are only a number of different dungeons you go through across a playthrough. This next mod adds 3 new backgrounds to all vanilla dungeons, which is great for adding some variety to the environments you see so often in the game. And True Heroes is the best way to avoid leaving things to luck. This is accomplished through a variety of tweaks to rebalance everything from hero stats, improved healing skills, and stat increases between levels. For the more advanced Darkest Dungeon players, exploring new classes is always a fun way to keep the game interesting.

There are tons to choose from, but maintaining a balanced roster is especially important if you want to build a successful team. And the Cataphract Class Mod works great for that. Try it out and see what you think! The Slayer is a shotgun-wielding knight class, which makes him a great offensive hero. Both the Slayer and Cataphract class mods were created by modder S-Purple, who has become well known in the Darkest Dungeon community. So I recommend checking out his other class mods as well. As explained by the modder himself, the Revenant was heavily inspired by games like Dragon Age, Warcraft, and Darkness. Primarily a tank class, the Revenant has a few additional skills that will come in useful on your runs. Like his life steal skill Siphon Life and his high chances to inflict bleed. While the base game does offer quite a wide variety when it comes to trinkets, additional options are always good.

The Trinket Overhaul Project gives you exactly that, giving you an additional 75 custom trinkets to play around with. Despite the game being a dungeon crawler, not all the fun has to happen down in the depths of dungeons. Expanded Town Events aims to keep your time in the Hamlet even more interesting by adding a lot more town events. However, Geralt isn't the only character 铁制护腕 has taken a stab at. They've also created a couple inspired by Dark Souls III. The Grave Robber has been turned into an Abyss Watcher and the Bounty Hunter has turned into the Darkwraith. I'm not as big a fan of Dark Souls as The Witcher, but there's no denying these skins are impressive. The Darkwraith in particular has a lot of detail, completely transforming the character into something else entirely.

On top of that, the Abyss Watchers just look cool, and 铁制护腕 has captured that perfectly. Faraam Knight from Dark Souls II opens in new tab. If you didn't know Dark Souls was a popular video game series then you know now. This mod by Willydamn isn't on the Steam Workshop, but it's as easy as downloading the files and putting them in a folder—though it's always important to practice caution when downloading anything from this here internet. Once you get it up and running, your Crusader can look like the character from Dark Souls II's boxart, which is a good thing because they look awesome. Just like the Geralt mod, this skin is always in use by every single Crusader I have. It just looks so good. Bloodborne Highwayman Skin opens in new tab. Willydamn is back at it again, and this time, it's with Dark Souls' estranged cousin Bloodborne. I'll tell you what. If there's one thing the Highwayman needs, it's a dang hat.

And what better hat than the one from Bloodborne? This skin makes the Highwayman look more like the player character from Bloodborne. Unofficial Palette Expansion Pack opens in new tab. Of course, not every class in the game has a skin as good as the four I just mentioned. It adds five new colours to every class, and it brings purple to characters that didn't already have a skin of that colour. Winter Wonderland opens in new tab. This one isn't a skin for a class, but instead a skin for the world around you. It adds snow to the Hamlet and outside areas. You can use it anytime of the year, but it's one that you might want to hold on to for the holiday season.

It's created by Monsoontide, but it's uploaded and maintained by Maester Silvio. Musketeer opens in new tab. The Musketeer has a bit of a history. It was offered as a reskin of the Arbalest class if you backed Darkest Dungeon on Kickstarter at a certain tier. It had its own unique descriptions and story, but it basically functioned as the Arbalest does. However, modder Androu1 used those assets to make the Musketeer its own class, and it's a pretty dang good one. The only problem is you need the Musketeer assets for it to work. The Revenant opens in new tab. The Revenant is a tank who is such a dang tank that heavy armoured characters won't accompany him on quests because they don't want to be out-tanked.

He can also heal and deal attacks that make enemies bleed. If you're looking for a character who can lead the charge, the Revenant might be a good idea—though he's not the best against the Undead. Warden opens in new tab. If you're looking for a Crusader-like class, then Seventh's Warden is a good choice. She's able to deal damage to enemies, while also using her multiple banners to produce different effects. The first banner lowers your enemies' DODGE and PROTECT, the second buffs and destresses your allies, and the third produces a small healing effect to one of your teammates. Pit Fighter opens in new tab. The Pit Fighter is a big, dumb brute who attacks enemies with his bare hands. If you're not sold already, then I don't know what to tell you. He's probably my favourite design for a class mod, looking a lot like the human enemies you can encounter in various areas. But he's on your side. Its creator, ActionJack , has made a couple classes that are definitely worth checking out.

However, the Pit Fighter is definitely his crown jewel, as far as I'm concerned. Sign up to get the best content of the week, and great gaming deals, as picked by the editors.

Hi guys, Sorry to ask a question which is dumb and probably answered before, but I can;t seem to get workshop skins to work. I've cliked the blue button and they seem active they are lite up , but nothing is different in game. Is it just a random chance, or do I need the DLC or is it some other stupid oversight I have made? thanks A. Showing 1 - 7 of 7 comments. Herr Gutentauben View Profile View Posts. You have to change their skins in the character screen. If it doesn't work the mod might be broken. Modern Crusader View Profile View Posts. you just have to change the colors on the specific character with the skin, the skins are part of it. Thanks guys, I thoght I had tried that but I'll give it another whirl maybe the mods are just not working.

Rosy Muscovy View Profile View Posts. Make sure they're checked off in the mods list. Just cause they look all lit up and shiny doesn't mean anything in-and-of itself. Gotta have that there check mark. Second, as was pointed out, you'll more than likely have to click on the bottom left of the character menu to cycle through and find the skin you're looking for. Remember that if you're using a backer hero you CANNOT change their skin or name no matter what. Dumb questions still incoming: How do I check them off on the mods list? I click the blue hammer, the list of skins comes up and says I can pick the priority order, but there is nothing else to click or anything this list also resets itself as soon as I close it.

I'm not even that bothered about them really, but now it's just the principle of the damn thing! You click the workshop button blue hammer and go to the checkbox on the right and click with the left mouse button I'm beginning to understand your problem, I think. You probably didn't have them checked off in the first place. You're right, I didn't, and to my credit it's because I couldn't actually see the check box that I was supposed to tick this is not embaressing to admit at all. And no, I don't need new glasses, thank you very much! Thanks for the help, everyone. Per page: 15 30 Date Posted: 31 Jul, am. Posts: 7. Discussions Rules and Guidelines. Report this post REASON.
